Live Wedding and Event Painting /New Orleans

I haven’t really been feeling much like blogging recently but I’ve started doing Live wedding and event painting and I feel like it’s a must have for a blog post in order to get that part of my business going!

So I’ll show you some examples of work that I’ve done so far and then I’ll also show y’all some process photos!

I recently did an event for Terrebonne General Medical Clinic’s Ladies Night Out that is a fundraiser for helping patients with cancer. As we all know having cancer is an extremely expensive ordeal so I want to volunteer as much as I possibly can in order to help those in need. <3 You can find more about their yearly event here.

As many of y’all probably know, I have been doing portrait commissions for people for the last 10 ish years so I’m definitely not new to this scene— just new to painting in the wedding industry. Also for those 10 years I photographed hundreds of weddings all over the United States as that was my main source of income for many years.
Now I’m wanting to paint live at weddings all over the South, mainly in Louisiana but I’m definitely available for travel.
Primarily I work in Shreveport, Lafayette, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge. I also have a lot of ties in Portland so I would be willing to give a great deal for anyone willing to fly me out!

I feel like I’m one of those people that just want to do everything in every medium and every way possible. haha! I have always been that way— I love learning, and as much as my anxiety is such a determining factor in my life— I also truly enjoy trying new things. I love it when people watch me paint, I love teaching people how to paint, and with painting a portrait of someone I really feel like I am getting to know that person.
